Unveiling the Enchanting Charms of Big Corn Island, Nicaragua: A Travelogue of Tranquility and Adventure

This trip to Corn Islands was so fun that I would have loved to stay a little longer. But I can’t do that so I’m just going to flood you guys with photos around the islands. Me and my friends had the amazing opportunity to explore it more and I can’t wait to share all the details. First, let me show you around Big Corn Island! As the largest of Nicaragua’s Corn Islands, Big Corn boasts a mesmerizing blend of natural wonders, rich cultural heritage, and a laid-back atmosphere that invites exploration and relaxation in equal measure.

From pristine beaches to authentic local experiences, this blog delves into the essence of Big Corn Island, from its pristine beaches and vibrant coral reefs to the warm hospitality of its locals.. Whether you’re an adventurous traveler seeking underwater marvels, a culture enthusiast yearning for authentic experiences, or simply someone in pursuit of a tranquil escape, Big Corn Island promises to be your idyllic sanctuary in the heart of Central America’s hidden paradise.

Of course, I started the day right with a cup of coffee and a nice dining view! Same breakfast as you can see, I love their omelette!

These are the Casa Canada cabanas. I love that this resort is well-maintained. The rooms are so clean and spacious.

And here’s where the exploring started. The corners surrounding Casa Canada were magical! I love being close to nature and them preserving Big Corn Island in the best way possible is something I admire about the locals that live here. I also love how the boats add to the natural beauty of the island, you can evidently see that they have been used for a while but definitely not abused.

Big Corn Islands have so much to offer, and being at Casa Canada is just one of the places you can stay and be able to walk in these exquisite views!

Big Corn Island waters is so clean you can see what’s underneath! So beautiful and peaceful!

I didn’t expect to see more cabanas outside but these are actually resto-bars that open in the afternoon ’til evening.

These are just some cute beach chairs to relax while reading a book and enjoying the sound of the waves crashing the shore.

Also there’s a nice little hut thing you can obviously hangout!

I just came across these lovely flowers (don’t know the name though)!

Corn Islands has a lot more to offer than you can imagine! I hope more people visit this beautiful gem. This was an unexpected view from our lunch spot. So breathtaking!

This was my lunch. I specifically ordered a seafood pasta for 1 but it looked like it was actually made for 4 people. Haha!

And last but not the least, of course, a random boat with people appeared somehow and it fascinated me so I decided to take a photo of it!

And that’s it for today! I hope you’re still enjoying the Corn Island series. Traveling, honestly, is my stress reliever (aside from taking photos) and it has made me a better person in a way that I value experiences, moments, and adventures more than things which I was guilty of before. I used to obsess over material stuff that make me look good and now that I’ve overcome it is truly amazing. It has been a crazy ride but so far every bit of it is worth it. There’s more to come so keep posted by subscribing and following me on Instagram @roselinni. Come and visit Corn Islands and you’ll never regret every second of it. ‘Til next post!
