Granada, Nicaragua: A Perfect Weekend Road Trip

I did a quick stop in one of the best cities to go to in Nicaragua. Granada definitely has a place in my heart. Not only that one of my friends lives there but also, I love how people are so friendly and things to buy are cheap. F.Y.I., locals from there speak good English! Yet, Nicaraguan food is so good there and you can also find affordable specialty restaurants. It’s good to know these kinds of stuff as they’re somehow important as you travel from one country to another. The history of Nicaragua is huge that you can feel it until now because of how the locals preserved their culture. Original products are sold everywhere and also, you get to try or experience being a Nicaraguan in many ways possible.
Below are a few snaps during my short stroll:

Catedral de Granada from afar. So beautiful!

Granada houses and buildings. Very unique!

How the churches look like in Nicaragua

This caught my attention because it looks like a compass

The bell on top. So pretty!

Typical Nicaraguan food. Love it!

A little description outside the church

The beautiful church door, and a man sleeping and considered this place safe

So there you have it guys! I hope you love Granada like I do. This city has a lot to offer and this is just a bit of it. Go and explore Nicaragua as much as you can and when you do or if you have done it, feel free to share your experiences below or via email or you can also ask me on tips and tricks and other stuff to do and where to go around Nicaragua. ‘Til next post!
